1. Acceptance
By using Mahaperiyava Kathaigal (the "Site"), including the stories and the Bhaktars Portal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Nature of the Site
The Site is an independent devotional project. It presents internet documented stories of Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Mahaswamigal represented in comic style storytelling, and offers a community space for devotees.
3. Story content and sources
The stories are retold entirely in our own words with original artwork. The underlying events are drawn from publicly available sources, published accounts and devotee reminiscences. We believe that real-life events may be respectfully retold in any format, as they are matters of history. Where a chapter contains imagined scenery or connecting moments, the chapter says so. If you believe any material on the Site infringes rights you hold, reach us through the Bhaktars Portal; we will review promptly and, where appropriate, remove, correct or credit the material.
4. Accounts and user content
You are responsible for your account and for everything you post. You keep ownership of your posts; by posting you grant the Site a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display them within the Site. Do not post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, obscene, misleading, infringing, or unrelated spam, and do not impersonate others. We may moderate, remove content, or suspend accounts at our discretion to protect the community.
5. Sponsorships
Sponsorships are voluntary contributions, are processed by Stripe, and are used to support the creation of more stories and the running of the Site. A sponsorship is not a purchase of goods or services, grants no ownership, editorial control or advertising rights over any story, is non-refundable except where required by law, and is not represented as tax-deductible unless expressly stated. Sponsors may choose any amount.
6. Advertising
The Site may display third-party advertisements (including Google AdSense). Advertisers are responsible for their own content; a listing is not an endorsement.
7. No warranty and limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify the Site operator against claims arising from your content or your breach of these Terms.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms and the Site at any time; continued use means acceptance. We may discontinue any feature at any time.
